Diagnosing a Cavity
When a tooth has decayed and developed a cavity, it’s important to remove the decay and restore the tooth. Treatment will stop the decay from growing larger and weakening the tooth, and prevent bacteria from infecting the inner layers of the tooth.

Diagnosing Bone Loss
Tooth decay is caused by the action of bacteria on the foods you eat. Thousands of bacteria normally exist in your mouth, and most are beneficial. But some of them form tightly-knit colonies, called plaque, which is the sticky, colorless film that develops constantly on your teeth.

Homecare and Brushing
Neuromuscular dentistry goes deeper than your teeth and gums. It also focuses on the relationship of the jaw joints, muscles, and nerves. There are dozens of muscles that connect the upper and lower jaws. The goal of neuromuscular dentistry is to achieve a proper alignment between the upper and lower jaws that allows these muscles to function in a balanced, relaxed manner.

Implant Bridge Procedure
When several neighboring teeth are missing, an implant-supported bridge is an excellent treatment for replacing them. Placing an implant-supported bridge generally involves several phases.

Full Denture Procedure
When all your upper or lower teeth are missing, a full denture is a good treatment for replacing them. The first step in creating a full denture is to take impressions. An accurate model of your mouth is made from these impressions, and the lab uses this model to make the denture base.

Adult Braces
Planning braces for adults is a little more complicated than designing them for children. To begin with, the tooth movement and adult jaw development takes longer to accomplish. Adults often have broken, worn or missing teeth that must be addressed before braces can be placed.

What is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is an excellent treatment for replacing missing teeth. Implants are small, titanium posts that replace the roots of the missing teeth. Custom-fitted artificial teeth are secured to the implants, which hold the teeth firmly in place.

White Fillings
When a tooth has a cavity, or you need to replace a worn filling, a natural-looking restoration can be a beautiful choice. White fillings have several advantages over silver fillings.

Veneers
Veneers are thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of teeth. They can be a great choice to improve teeth that are stained, crooked, worn, or have gaps.

The Goal of Cosmetic Dentistry
Turning a dull smile into a dazzling one!

Teeth Whitening
New breakthroughs in light-activated gels and specially designed lights now make it possible to achieve a whiter, brighter smile right here in our office with a new technology called power whitening.

Detecting Oral Cancer
As part of our oral cancer exam, we can offer comfortable, non-invasive technologies for detecting cancer in its earliest stages.

Diagnosing Gum Disease
Gingivitis, also known as gum disease, is inflammation of the gums. It’s often the first stage of periodontal disease. Some of the warning signs of gingivitis include: bleeding when brushing or flossing, redness where the gums and tooth meet, swollen gums, and bad breath.

Why Do Teeth Decay?
Tooth decay is caused by the action of bacteria on the foods you eat. Thousands of bacteria normally exist in your mouth, and most are beneficial. But some of them form tightly-knit colonies, called plaque, which is the sticky, colorless film that develops constantly on your teeth.

Technologies in Dentistry: Invisalign
A beautiful smile is a great asset, but some of us aren’t lucky enough to be born with perfectly straight teeth. And many adults avoid straightening their teeth because they’re put off by the look and feel of traditional metal braces.

Root Canals
The idea of root canal therapy can be frightening, but do you really know what a root canal is and why your dentist would say you need one?

All Porcelain Crowns
To restore a damaged smile, all-porcelain crowns can be a beautiful choice. These crowns have the translucency of your natural teeth. This makes them an excellent choice when esthetics are of great importance.

Invisalign Dentistry
You can straighten your teeth discreetly with Invisalign. Made of a clear plastic, the aligners are custom-fit to you. To plan your treatment, we’ll first discuss your goals for your smile, and determine if Invisalign is appropriate for your case.
